Summer.
So this summer I’m going to be in and out. As you probably have noticed.
I’ve been at a camp for a month now directing. It has been a ton of fun and I’m really learning a lot.
Today I leave for Haiti.
I don’t know what to expect, but I do know that I’m going to come back a changed man. There still is a lot of need down there and I really do look forward to helping some.
Please keep me and my group in your thoughts and prayers as we journey to one of the poorest cities in the world.

So I wasn’t able to blog about this yesterday because I didn’t have any time.
Yesterday was an anniversary of sorts. A day that I will remember for the rest of my life. A bittersweet day…
June 17, 2001 my little sister, Chloe, passed away.
It’s crazy to think that it has already been ten years. She’s been gone a long time now.
She’d be fifteen now.

Pocket Change
Normal people do not like to hold on to their change after they pay for something. It tends to just make noise and scratch your phone in your pockets. Also, there is not much use for pennies anymore, so people like to throw them out.
Cheap people love this “Pocket Change”. It helps us think that we have just a little bit more money than we actually do.
Uses for pocket change
- Laundry
- Gum
- Lottery Scratchers
- McDonald’s Dollar Menu Items
Besides these reasons…there isn’t much else use.
Nobody who has a lot of money owns a piggy bank.
